Reception Administrator – Part Time

We are looking for two confident and enthusiastic individual to join the Merkur team as an Reception Administrator!

We have two exciting opportunities:

A morning position starting at: 8:30am - 12:30pm
As well as an afternoon position starting at 12:30pm - 5:00pm  

Within this position, you will provide administrative support in relation to the following key personnel: Directors, Office Manager, Operations Department and others in the senior management team 

To be successful within this role, you will need an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, superior communication skills, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

As well as this, the position involves overseeing the reception desk and minute taking when necessary. All while ensuring you maintain utmost confidentiality as you will be dealing with highly sensitive data. 

Day to day duties will include:

  • Daily Reception administration and housekeeping task, such as scanning, filing.
  • Handling Customer Complaints, and tracking them on the internal portal.
  • Managing the Company Inbox and responding to customer queries.
  • Scheduling meetings and appointments, in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining all meeting rooms to a high standard.
  • Greeting visitors/guest and assisting them.
  • Provide general assistance for meetings, note taking, producing documents.
  • Supporting with events and conferences.
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Sorting and distributing daily post / deliveries received and manage outward post including organising courier  collection. 
  • Adhoc tasks requested by Office Manager

What you will need:

  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in talking to people at all levels of management.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Good IT Skills experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work independently as well as apart of a team .
  • Able to prioritize and handle multiple different tasks.
